Leonard Sax

Leonard Sax, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician and a psychologist and the founder of the National Association for Single-Sex Public Education. His scholarly work has been published in a wide variety of prestigious journals including American Psychologist, Behavioral Neuroscience, Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of the American College of Nutrition, Journal of Family Practice, Annals of Family Medicine, Journal of Sex Research, and others. He has been a featured guest on CNN, PBS, Fox News, Voice of America, NPR's Talk of the Nation, and many other news programs, discussing the importance of gender differences in how children learn.



Dora Maendel


Dora Maendel is a beloved Hutterite story-teller and educator. She began telling stories as a teenager to entertain her younger siblings, and continued on to use story-telling in her role as a teacher of early-years German, participating in local poetry festivals, the Winnipeg International Storytelling Festival and other opportunities as a program participant and guest speaker. Her high school teaching via teleconferencing and the HBNIITV system has impacted an entire generation of Hutterite students. Dora’s stories can be heard in Carinthian German, the Hutterite dialect, on three popular story-telling albums, the most recent of which is entitled, "Jakob Huter und ondra Hutterischa Tschichtlen” (2013). "Deborah’s Journey", her first children's picture book is illustrated by Serena Maendel (2014). Dora Maendel was born and raised at New Rosedale Hutterite Community, south-west of Portage la Prairie, MB and today lives a few miles down the road at Fairholme Hutterite Community.



Kent Julian

Kent Julian is a lot of things: a family man, a speaker, an entrepreneur, an author, a swim coach. In everything he does, his overarching theme is to lead by serving. That’s why he’s so committed to empowering teens to SHOW UP AND SHINE in their life and leadership as well. Kent’s leadership background with students is extensive. Early in his career he led several youth programs, including the largest of its kind in his state. His master’s program dissertation was on youth development and “how organizations can better equip the next generation for effective service and leadership.” Yet Kent is more than a youth expert: he strives to walk his talk and is personally committed to SHOW UP AND SHINE in the way he lives, works, and leads.



Robert Saik


Robert Saik is a Professional Agrologist and a Certified Agricultural Consultant. As founder of The Agri-Trend Group, Robert has been involved in the development of many new business processes and concepts. Agri-Trend has been nominated one of Canada’s 2012 Top 50 Best Managed Companies and was recognized by Venture Magazine as one of Alberta’s 2013 top 25 Most Innovative Organizations. Robert is a Director of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce, Director of Westener Park, 2014-2015 Chairman of Agri-Trade Show and serves on The Red Deer Chamber of Commerce Ag Policy Committee as well as Advisor to The Canadian Management Council, The Farm Progress Show and The Red Deer College Donald School of Business. In 2006 he was recognized as Distinguished Agrologist of the Year by the Alberta Institute of Agrology. He is passionate about pursuing business opportunities in the Agricultural Sector.
